An early Eid Mubarak/Akhtar Umbaraksha to all!!
Salam alaykum brothers and sisters
According to Al-Jazeera, Saudis just declared the first of Dhul-Hijjah on Thursday, which means Eid for the Hajjis is on Saturday. ISNA declared Eid on Sunday (with Friday as the first of Dhul-Hijjah), yet some local mosques which followed ISNA for Ramadan is following Saudis for Eid Al-Adha, which makes no sense to me since they?re two entirely different methods of calculation. In any case, Eid Mubarak/akhtar umbaraksha for when ever you?ll celebrate it.

If you are not able to fast the 10 days, you definatly dont want to miss fasting on the day of Arafat. Fasting this day expiates the sins of 2 years.
"The day of Arafah is the day when the pilgrims stand in worship on the Mountain of Arafah. It is the best day of the Whole Year.
Fasting the day of Arafah expiates the sins of two years: a past one and a coming one. And fasting the day of Ashura expiates the sins of the past year.
There is no day on which Allah frees people from the Fire as He does no the day of Arafah. He comes close (to those standing on Arafah) and then revels before His angels, saying: "What are these people seeking?"

when is eid in Chicago?
Yea baby-j when i say air kisses-im actually referring to the arabs...and afghans who do it 3 times. I think ill try the big smooch thing and maybe next time around they will stick to just a hand shake.
You sisters have it lucky. Arab men are the biggest air kissers in the world. I hate it when their rough stubbled faces press against my cheeks and kiss me! I think that's very gay.

* Begging - Trying to convince those who want to go back to work that they are stupid as hell and that they should chillax a little.
* Chillax - Chill with those who you managed to convince not to go back to work.
