The Prophet (pbuh) said: 'An act of charity is due from every joint of the body (as a means of showing gratitude to Allah swt for one's body and good health): Helping a person to ride his animal (or vehicle) or load his baggage is charity, a good word is charity, every step taken towards (the mosque for) prayer is charity, and showing someone the way is charity.'
