Am I alone?
salams
I am curious on something.
Is it me or do you actually lose frineds after marriage in Islam? I notice that some of the single sisters I knew no longer speak to me, not even a hello. I wonder why this is? The nonmusllims I assosiate with still treat me as they did before. Why in Islam is it different?
And why is it that people in Islam actually want to strt trouble between a husband and wife? Like spreading rumors, etc Why do people get jollies out of seeing somenoe hurt and people breaking up or fighting?
It is bad enough my husband is gone due to people telling him to go back home and me file for immigration here (they lied and told him he'd be back in 3 months......fat chance). So he decided to go back thanks to them. But now thse people treat me differnet when he is gone and are not the friends I thought they were. And losing other friends....first I lose my husband for an indefinite period of time and now I lose friends too.
Why do people enjoy causing so much trouble for someone and suddenly you look around and no one is there? I saw this in Christianity when I was a Christian and now i see it in Islam. It seems the more religious a person is....you better streer clear of them. It is all a big oxymoron to me.

Aoothu biAllahi minas shaytaan irrajeem, Bis'millah irrahman irraheem.
My sister, Ishtar_r - may Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala grant you sabr and strength through this trying time, Insha'Allah Ameen.
I feel your pain....
Let us rather focus our attention on the learning of the Qu'ran and Sunnah of our Nabi Sallalahu alaihi wa sallam. Surely, there is guidance from our most high Creator, King, Ruler, Magnificent Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala! Let us keep our salaah always, Insha'Allah Ameen, and pray to Allah to grant us His mercies.
Let's make dua' for each other
Take care,
Ma'assalaam
Nurah
You have my prayers and best wishes.
As for how I became Muslim......it's a long story. back then I met true Muslims. We no longer speak now as time made us grow apart. Ever since then, I've been floating around in this religion trying to figure things out.
To be honest, after 3 years I kinda forget things. I'm sick of being around people who are judgemental and extreme and do not want anything to do with me beyond dawah.
Nowadays the person who has helped me the most (aside from my best friend) is my new best friend....my husband. He has shown me what a true Muslim is without all the extremism, prejudice, and judgementalness that goes along with everyone else's version of Islam.
May Allah bring us back together again soon.....yala
I've found in my life it takes time to find true friends and I have to choose them very carefully. I hope you find your true friends and I really hope you and your husband can be reunited and know peace.
