All about Saban Smack
So any one thinks Saban is a good pro coach and can make right personnel decisions.
I personally think he is a remarkable college coach where he can mighty recruit and develop kids. The teams he built at LSU and players he recruited is nothing less than amazing.
His personnel decisions so far in Miami have just been average at best, other than drafting Channing crowder, its been a real poor judgement. How he let Drew slip away and acquired a trashy, overrated, poor QB like culpepper is beyond my imagination.
I think he is best suited for Bama job. Any thoughts

I think its time to make a "Just Shut Up" VE much like Mike and Mike in the Mornings.
The logic is very simple, its a business they dont want half sold stadiums and loss revenues... Dan Marino is a name tag which is loved by people here and they will show up.. ZERO experiance will be his added advantage as he will keep getting benefit of doubt untill team is rebuilt. He has been GM before and prolly get that position back which is enough power to ramble around.. plus Huezinga and he go back a long way
So, He can just come in as HC with power of being a GM. He can hire really good Coordinators who will do most of coaching while he being the Poster Kid... Simple isnt it ? :)
