hijabmandotcom

This village is for friends of hijabman's' blog ( hijabman.com ) or wearer of the related merchandise. It also serves at a meeting place where like-minded, good hearted people can meet each other. I try to surround myself with people of conscience.
One of the unexpected benefits of HijabMan's web site is that brings together people from all over the world, from Australia, to Malaysia, to Egypt, to North America and Europe, HijabMan has created a network of friends, and he loves them all, and he loves introducing them to each other. Enjoy.

ps: Rasmalai is good sadaqah.

Fascinating. I recall you being the fartiest one of them all.

Salaam H-manizzle fans, etc.
OK, you have SIXTY SIX people in your group! That's like 4x as many as there are in the skateboarding group... that is messed up!

Holmes, you need to do something to push all these people away, like come out against marshmellows or heart shaped falafel or something...

Columbus, Ohio- August 22-23rd. Pack up the car with roughly 650 shirts, and drive from Philadelphia to Columbus, Ohio. Spend the night. Take pictures at local mosques and things. Meet internet people.

Bloomington, Indiana- August 23-24th. Drive there, stay the night. Meet internet people.

Chicago, Illinois- August 24-Sept 6th. Drive there, 3-day wedding (not mine, though my parents thought it would be funny to joke about buying me a ticket to a matrimonial dinner at the local mosque... I may just surprise them and go, just for the experience. You know, research!). September 2nd-5th at ISNA, booth 315. Sell shirts. Meet internet people.

San Francisco, California- September 6-12th- Fly there. Meet internet people. Hike from Muir woods to Muir beach, play lots of frisbee, jump in the ocean. Relax after the stress of ISNA.

And then, I'll do everything in reverse. Joy.

If you live in any of these cities and wouldn't mind letting me crash for a night or two (or 6), especially in Chicago and in San Francisco, that would be wonderful.

I do dishes. I can cook. I can make balloon animals for you and your children. I'm also a bit quirky, and I can hang TV mounts for you, install garage door openers and things like that. I'm low maintenance, laid back, and I love meeting new people. So if you need some help with housework, you let me know. I dont care whether you are male or female or intersexed, nor do i care where you come from, as long as you are quick to smile, and laid back!

You can check out my website to find out more about me at hijabman.com If you want, you can even have a shirt or two for free if i have any left after ISNA.

If you need references, let me know--- this is just how i travel, knock on peoples doors with chocolate and a hijabman shirt

I like to plan things ahead of time, even though I'm more of a spontaneous character. FYI, I have bought a booth for ISNA, and I'll be in Chicago, God willing, from August 25th - September 7th. The catch is, I'll be driving from Philadelphia to Chicago (a good 14 hour drive, non-stop). It would be nice to meet some people and have a place to stay along the way. So if you or anyone you know lives along the route from here to Chicago (Cleveland, OH seems like a nice place to stop!) and wouldn't mind a nice, dish-doing, fun-to-play-scrabble-with-guest then please let me know. I'm low maintence. I can sleep on a 2 foot by 6 foot piece of floor, if need be. :)

Go to www.hijabman.com (hijabman.com, my site) for more about who i am and what I'm about :)

Thanks
HM
