**MUST SEE FOR ALL MUSLIMS WORLD OVER***
Why We Fight The BBC presents Why We USA.Fight by Charlotte Street, a documentary on the commerce of war, and how the military industrial complex profits so much from war, that it must create wars to continue the growth of it's business. A classic must-see film.

your larry summers was visiting california and talked to some of us at work yesterday. he struck me as pretty sharp though a bit academic, at least in his prepared stuff. his introduction (by a former harvard student and close student of his) was damn near 15 minutes long and actually more interesting than much of his speech. he seemed to enjoy talking about bread-n-butter economics and sociology the most, and came to life at those points in the question and answer time. what do you all think of him? he got applauded by one person for his courage (their words) to say what he believes in when all around there "is so much stifling political correctness." another person asked him a question about the disparity between sexes in college graduation stats. (apparently 30% more women graduate from colleges in the US than men, and he added that 2/3rds of all HS honor rollees are girls) but he kinda didn't say anything substantial except that it was a situation that "bears more research" and that "the reflex conclusions: guys are systematically being descriminated against, for example, all seem implausable." he seemed smart, but he didnt' seem like a real leader (al gore came by the other month and was fantastically more charismatic). what kind of person is he? did students like him? would love to hear your comments (since i see a lot more of hennessey than summers). thanks.
