Well this village is for everyone and anyone who is ?Happily Single? including 'contently singles' in a relationship and is not just limited to singles but also welcomes any and all ?happily married? friends of all the happy singles as well=)?
After all no village is complete without its ?single?s club??BUT what makes ?Happily Single? village different is that members of this village are not just fixated with the idea of finding someone. We are ?single & looking? and in the meantime till we get hitched are having a time of our life and are enjoying every moment for whatever its worth!!...
This village is indented for everyone who is sick of their 20somthing and/or 30something single desi friends who are always whining and complaining about being single. And would like to interact, meet and share opinions/ideas/experiences with non-whiners ;). Please don?t take me wrong, by no means am I here promoting an idea of not getting married ever. All I am saying is while we are ?single & looking? why can?t we enjoy this phase of our life and live in the moment rather than complain, think and/or plan for something non of us have control over.

has added a new journalI am just wondering if there is a growing trend of South Asian American women who are choosing men of other races. It seems to me that there is a huge double standard though. Most men who do this are not criticized but when women do it, they are looked down upon or even prevented outright. I have heard of girls who've even been sent overseas because they chose guys of other backgrounds. So what is your opininon on this topic or what have your experiences been like? I am curious to find out.
