Now coming to the topic. Recently, I got a Variax 700 guitar and I am amazed by what technology can do. Plugged into POD X3 Live through VDI cable, this baby is giving me end-to-end digital signal path, all the way to the PC. The guitars on Variax sound great and since there are no magnetic pickups, there is no hum at all. And yes, there is even an electric sitar model.
Highly recommended.
