I'm still relatively new to lovely birmingham and still getting to know the city. I have my sis and her friends coming to stay with me for a week.....and as much as i love the pagal girls..... i am going to have to entertain for a whole week.....so i need my purse and my a-z ready. However i was wondering if u guys could recommend any fun things to do? and cool places to eat? i'd very much appreciate it. :)

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! Remember tht tune with ghostbusters?? "who dya call? ghostbusters!!!" well on this situ...who dya call?? SUKI!!!! :P Just kidding!! Well im sure GOWM girls will tell u tht we've had good dinners at Lahore Chinese (highgate rd), Al-Faisals (yardley green rd) and if u wanna go desi, cheap but goodish food then go to my fav chicken steak place ie lahore karahi on ladypool rd...now if u wanna go retro then there is a halal italian place in kings heath...email me to get the addy, dont remember off the top of me head...also shiraz-a taste of persia on hagley rd (u must try the persian chai after dinner...i can seriously get high on tht!) If ur in town then eat at the food loft at the top of pavilions shopping centre, they have a gr8 selections of restaurants inc a veggie rest called natural choice (gr8 salad platters!!). For a panini/lunch type thing theres a halal caf? called Appetizer on High st, Kings Heath (best of the bunch) or 2 bagguette places on ladypool rd, Bobby?s and one on the corner?cant remember name. On Coventry rd theres another one called the pastry house (abso brill cakes!!!). And for good pizza go to Caspian?one on Mosely rd and one on Coventry Rd and I think one on Stratford Rd.

As for places to go, well theres Drayton Manor Park (half price tiks from last minute.com), Millenuim Point (never been, but ive heard its okie) STARCITY (ie desi central!! Lol, cinema, rest, bowling etc), for a nice stroll round the parks (yeh okie it mught sound oldie but a girly chat while eating ice-cream has never done me any harm :P) goto Cannon Hill park, edgbaston, its opp the cricket ground or Lickey Hills, down south brum. Other than tht the bullring. Cant think of anymore at the mo, but will post if I remember?oh and ur normal desi areas?Stratford rd, ladypool rd (Sparkhill), Alum Rock Rd (Saltley) and Soho Rd (Aston)
