Ive been in a tight bind lately. Its come down to me finding a paying job outside of my home once again. I feel a sense of reluctance in doing it because it would mean leaving my children at home, even part time, under the care of someone else.

I'm starting over again almost on my own. Meaning I am married but I have to do this so I can pay my rent and have basic things. Ya Allah! I dont know if I will be successful or not trying to juggle my family and a job, while maintaining the freedom I felt during the day.

Has anyone been at this crossroads like I have? Is there any decent part time jobs for Muslim mothers returning to work after such a long time? Any leads/advice would help.

HI there all, I am adnan and I am a doctor , I have just moved to Lawrenceville GA, and I am looking for friends from professional background, I went to Global Mall for the same purpose but that is a totally different environment. So anyone out there who has some ideas tha what should I do ? like do you have some social gatherings here where people can meet and have a chat. I would really appreciate that.

regards.

I just started an identity and access management company with a friend and we are looking for some good techies. If you have a CISSP or know what that is, check out our site secidsol.com) and send me your resume. Even if you don't, and you work in a computer or network security related field, please contact us and maybe we can work something out. We are based out of the DC area, but have a number of opportunities in Georgia and other parts of the South.

We will doing mostly 1099 positions initially, but that could change if enough people prefer to be employees. The model calls for the engineers to make up to about 40% of their bill rate and have the potential for an additional 10% bonus. With rates consistently above $200 and growing, I don't think attrition will be a problem. ;) We're also very family friendly, so if you make enough money in 6 months and want to take the next 6 months off we're cool with that. Where else are you going to find that environment?

It looks like people just gave up posting in this journal and went away... What's going on with everybody? I stayed offline for so long I lost touch with alot of my online friends and fellow naseebers... I was on my own this last few months running my little business and I just got so busy I didn't have a second to get on and really chat for more than a second to anyone...

So, how is everybody... What area are all you newer members in? I live southside, close to the Farmer's Market... Anyone else near here?
