has added a new journalwatched the latest by Almodovar,'Volver'
i think it was one of the best Almodovar flicks i've seen (all about my mother, bad education and talk to her)
like all his other movies, the movie revolved around women....3 generations of them..and how their lives affected each other.
i 'd recommend it to peeps to catch it

CHAOS
I just saw it with my mom and I must say we liked it, wasn't disapointed with it or her last one, Fire. Its sad that a 2000 year old custom still exists in Hindustan... 34 million widows living in cultural, economic, social subjugation. And I think John's character had it right by saying that it is fueled by economics.
This is not to say that other cultures and societies don't have their own traditions that are less than human, like genital mutilation, honor killings, etc.
