So this site is dedicated to filmmakers (which is a broad category, and includes all aspects and elements of filmmaking: producers, writers, directors, dps, gaffers, grips, electric, hair/makeup, set design, wardrobe, etc.) and anyone who has ever wanted to make films or be a part of the community in any way. Film is one of the most powerful tools we have, I would love this 'village' to be a place where people come to learn, ask questions, give advice, form partnerships/collaborators, and make magic happen, insha'allah. Some of us are compelled to create, to share with the greater communities, to express in the hopes of accomplishing goals. If you are one of those people who has yet to discover the beauty and power behind film, come and learn. Some of us simply want to entertain, and still others who (stealing from Krs-one) are into edutainment. Film is what can help all of these people and more. And the potential to reach audiences and say/do something is wonderfully delicious and sinfully tempting. But there;s nothing sinful about it. So come, lets make some movies!
