I go back and forth on things I want. Previously I never gave up on anything. My to-do list was completed on a daily/weekly basis. I have seemed to gone off track and want to get back on, any tips?

What makes you give up on something you really want to do?

What gives you strentgh to not give up?

How can we let the environment take control of our strengths. How could I want to be as strong as I was when I was 19. Ten years of experience is suppose to teach you and make you wiser, not repent your loss in character.

The little pain is noticeable on the outside and inside there exist tremendous pain that is hidden. What options do we really have? An exit door won?t do good to any party, a trapped door won?t do good to any party. A happy medium is like reaching for the stars. We know it will never happen but we keep trying. In the midst of trying we lose our youth, beauty, happiness, need for affection, and silly craziness has suddenly transformed to psychotic craziness.

What really irritates are the times one can cry so hard that clothes become damp from sweat, the times when we are smiling and laughing but inside in a split second we can weaken. Our shell is apparently not strong enough. We are wise enough to choose our battles and hold our shield up to one that really doesn?t have much of an affect in our life. But what do you do when the one you love dearly (and not even certain as to why) is standing in front of you with a sword pointed right at your heart. That?s when you drop your shield and say if I am already fighting and it will go on endlessly, then why not I shall let my guard down.

Our words, feelings, perspectives, and tears dissipate into thin air in the midst of trying to bring peace. Where does all that effort go? And what affect does it have on the one putting in the last drop of effort and stretching it in hope that it may shed some light this time.

So here?s a riddle for you; it?s been said over and over, ?One can?t make others happy unless they are truly happy with themselves.? If we are not happy because of others, and they aren?t happy because of us, then who will make who happy, because realistically happiness can?t be attained with periodic poking of sadness & madness.

Cure?Ha! There is no cure for defeated love. It is as malignant as cancer takes over a body and each phase with time gets worse, you fight for your life but we all know we are fighting a loosing battle.

Marriage: (This should be fairly easy, I love multiple choice)

A. The social institution under which a man and woman establish their decision to live as husband and wife by legal commitments, religious ceremonies, etc.

B. The state, condition, or relationship of being married; wedlock: a happy marriage.

C. A version of symbiosis ("living together"), a phenomenon in which two organisms which are phylogenetically unrelated co-exist over a prolonged period of time, usually the lifetime of one of the individuals. A symbiotic relationship with prolonged interaction that includes predatory or episodic interactions.

D. Choice A or B

Okay, I am down to either C or D. I thought this was suppose to be easy, *hrmph*, well if I go with my gut feeling I would say choice C, but that?s funny because choice C sounds more like Parasitism.

Do you think those of Pakistani/Afghani/Irani (or any other type of Muslim) heritage born/raised in the US (or the West) are different--thought-wise and attitude-wise--than those who were born/raised back in the homeland?

Why or why not?

Sophisty

I think you answered it well, Slim.

This is very difficult issue to answer either way. I suppose I drift back and forth b/w whether or not a place one is raised on has an impact on their upbringing. Foe example, I know such girls that have gone astray both back home and in the USA. On the opposing sides, i have met the most nicest people from both as well. Yes the environment does have a limitation on one to be influenced. But more so I think it has to do with the people we choose to be around. The easist form of influence is who we choose to let in our lives as close friends.

Sophisty...I am not sure if I answered correctly. I would like to go in further detail. just inform me if I understood your question.

If the "black box" flight recorder is never damaged during a plane crash, why isn't the whole airplane made out of that stuff?
