Books
Since I can see this village turning into a mini version of either Amazon.com or Chapters with an overwhelming amount of book reviews; sorting through the plethora of books will get really cumbersome eventually (and inevitably redundant). So any suggestions on how to control this mammoth of a topic would be greatly appreciated. How about creating seperate villages for different genre's? Or maybe even our own little 'naseeb book club'.

The best English Translantion I have read so far, has spiritual transliteration as an added benefit to those who are exploring deeper meanings. Brings out new meanings even if you have read translations and tafseers in urdu. A must read.
Quran is far more modern and superior to our times, even when we think it was revealed centuries ago, it is still too far ahead in time and space. After all it IS THE WORD OF GOD

is a must read for initiates on the path of sufism or anyone who would like a comprehensive review on the topic, and introduction to the ideologies followed by various sufi saints.
Very well written, thoroughly researched, easy to understand.
Has quotations of Quranic verses, which I have personally referred to during my study and found to be exactly in accordance to the text.
