Come Join us as we share Great knowledge, literature, and discuss the Books we have read, Make Recommendations of other great pieces, and even Have Reading groups, of books we will read together and discuss.
The Rules are as followed.
1. You may not take the JE's Out of context and begin side conversation, insults and disrespect.
2. You may not take conversation we have here to OTHER villages.
3. Enjoy, be OPEN minded about the things you hear others share, and feel free to share your counter points on the pieces of Literature we will be discussing.

has added a new journalNYBAP is proud to present a special Leadership Panel entitled "Critical Success Factors for Emerging Professionals" featuring a diverse group of young professionals from various fields. Moderated by NYBAP Publicity Co-Chair Ruhana Hafiz, the panel will be part of the biennial Bangladeshi American Foundation Inc's (BAFI) Convention 2007 held at the Mclean Hilton in McLean, VA on July 6th and 7th.
Our panelists are: Jasmine Ahmed, Faisal Quader, Sam Quiah, Malik Rashid and Sylvana Sinha.

Description: Team Bangladesh is a non-profit making youth led association aimed at inspiring the young generation of Bangladeshi origin to engage in voluntary social work for the betterment of the country. While the country's economy has been sustained at a steady level after 35 years of independence, it has not grown at the anticipated speed. As a result, we lag behind many of the neighbouring countries and face the unbearable truth of being labelled as one of the worlds poorest countries. Having said this, it is never late for us to get involved and give the country a lift to catch up the lost speed on its way to glory and success.
Aims & Objectives :
Inspire the Bangladeshi youths to engage in voluntary social work;
To inspire expatriate Bangladeshi community and international students from Bangladesh, to work in designated projects aimed at development of Bangladesh.
Provide financial support towards education of the poor and scholarship for the talented students of Bangladesh.
Take steps towards supplying clean (arsenic free) water and safe sanitation for the deprived population of Bangladesh.
Engage in relief programs to rehabilitate victims of any major natural disaster or any emergency situation arising in Bangladesh.
Steps to improve access to good health care for the population at large.
Hard endeavours will be made to assist the deprived population of Bangladesh on legal and Human Rights issues.
To reduce poverty by creating self-employment opportunities.
Let us join hands to make it possible. Together, we can make our country a better place to live for you, for me and for many generations to come. Let us be the difference that we want to see

Love is both universal and local. Just like Language, Love exists in all human societies yet varies in its shapes and forms. Love inhabits a central place in the Bengali imagination.
The Network of Young Bangladeshi American Professionals (NYBAP) is pleased to invite you to an evening of selected readings from Bangla literature celebrating Love. The event will showcase poetry by Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam and Sunil Gangopadhyay as well as excerpts of novels by Manik Bandopahyay, Humayun Ahmed and Ahmad Mostofa Kamal.
Refreshments to follow the readings.

My name is Mila, I grew up in Southern California. Far away from Home (BD) but never forgotten. I came to the USA when I was 3, I live with my Mother and Father, and I have a Little sister 21 years old, who is attending University, studying Econ, but she is a Artist, and a GREAT Chef!! Even though I am older then she I totally adore her and Look Up to her! Hope I make her proud too.My Extended family is huge, we aren't a Rich Bunch, but We sure are Bucchi (i think i spelled that wrong)
I am really proud of where I come from, and my family and such and I always try my best to maintain a sense of dignity, humility, and honor.
I myself work in the field of education, I am a Therapist, working one one one with Children with Autism and related disorders. I also do Parent Training.

Literature, and Art are Defin. my thing. I Paint and draw on my spare time. Love to write, and learn different things, other cultures, travel socialize.
