has added a new journalOk, I will state the obvious changes I noticed here since I came back to AZ in 2006 from my previous life here.
1- More Hispanics from south of the border, unfortuantly although most are hard working, but some criminal elements has raised the crime rate. Does any one dare to live in the West Valley!!
2- So many new malls North of Scottsdale road. Don't know the names but whats the deal.
Oh and Arizona Mills is all Ganged up.
3- Real estate is ridiculious!! Not that we have an ocean here, or resembelence of decent weather in summer!! The birds coming from California and the noth east over valued the market here.
4- The Suns is still the only team worth watching here, despite the diamondbacks accomplishments in 2001.
5- The Hookha Joints, Thank God for that.
6- I am surprised that around the lake was not developed faster!!
& - Mill ave still the same. awesome.

I think the 'west valley' you are talking about is not the same west valley Bushra is talking about. Its expanded a lot since you've been gone.lovely_z

We are planning a Young Professional get together.(date and location will be announced soon). The purpose of this gathering is to socialize with our young muslim community. It will also give our new comers the opportunity to make new friends.

We (Couple of highly qualified and professional bloggers ) are planning to start an official Arizona Muslim NEWS blog.
Apart from your daily page hits, I mean daily visits to know how much is today cost of Dates at Phoenicia/salaam's market. And who was given parking ticket at ICC mosque for double parking), we will have international and very local news and events, all done berry professionally.
For starters we are calling for highly dedicated moderators who can spell "floccinaucinihilipilification" at a split second when called at 2 am. And who can easily seperate canadian english, american english and english english like water from milk.
Mean while throw some cool "sounding" name for our News Blog.
All you take care and don't forget to carry a water bottle with you when you are out in our fav AZ sun. Seattle has been berry berry hot since 2-3 days, with record high temperature of........ 90F. Plus none of the apartments here have AC.
