has added a new journalI worked for a nfp company recently. The project was mismanaged, employees were mistreated and overworked, volunteers and employees had to take abuse from the asian project head who changed the rules daily and threatened people with unemployment if they couldn't keep up with the new rules (don't talk to other employees, work long hours, don't take any time off even on Eid)
Many of us are now angry at the company concerned and want to make their dealings public. They didn't give proper contracts to some people, they repeatedly asked us to change important figures in reports to make it look like more people were being helped than actually were, and to increase volunteers hours. This is a misue of public and EU funds and there is also a government link through a company head.
How do we make this public and ensure no other/ future employees have to deal with it.

can a Muslim father force his NON Muslim ex-wife to hand over their daughter to him claiming that since he is a Muslim and she is a NON Muslim - she cant raise his child the way he wants.
Does he have any legal claim??

ah good.. my sis and i were so gleeful when we saw the news footage where she said she herself wanted to live in pak & as a muslim.. we thought this was a blow for all the western anti muslim propagandists who keep stressing how harmful islam is / how chauvinistic and dictatorial muslim dads are..i guess her mum realised what her daughter wants and that leaving her be will be in her best interests

Labs - the latest on that UK case is that the mother decided to drop her claim and to let her daughter live where she wanted to live as long as she had access. Here is a link to the story: news.bbc.co.ukLabs
you need to check the facts.. i thought it was more like.. the prescribed upbringing according to sharia was < 7 - with mother .. 7 - 14 - with father .. 14 - 21 - with relative with the next claim usually the mothers mother or father mother etc...look it up on google

the uk, go to the citizens advice bureau locally (can google them for you if we know what area this person is in) they can be phoned/ seen and provide basic legal advice- also if he has no income it's possible he can get legal aid and therefore a lawyer to represent him; lastly maybe approach the maulvi in your community mosque as whatever he does he will have to do it sensitively as family are involved :S
