The Islamic Republic of Pakistan: Media / Entertainment / Censorship

Lately, I've been very absorbed in Pakistani Dramas. They are good! Some, very good. Much better than Indian over-commercialized dramas that go on for YEARS.
The series are short: 21-23 episodes max. The actors are great. They can act, and as a bonus not too bad to look at ;) (please refer to pic above) The story lines are pretty good. Normal things that you can relate to. However, I noticed that there is a major lack of censorship in these dramas.
I don't understand how the "Islamic Republic of Pakistan" allows such topics and scenes to be aired. Some ideas, thoughts and scenes are SO unislamic, that it makes me sick!
I don't even want to start on the physical closeness that they have started showing between characters but what thew me off the most was this one drama i recently watched starring my future husband (Imran Abbas hehehe) (please refer to pic above).
The story line is that this guy (Imran Abbas) (please refer to pic above) is forced to marry his elder cousin because she lost her family in an accident so the father feels obliged to force his son to marry her. The nikkah happens, the guy gets pissed and moves to NY. There, of course, he meets a young pretty girl falls in love and gets married. Calls home to Pakistan and says hey BTW I remarried. Now his father is having a heartattack so he rushes back home, New wife accompanies him. and the hurdles start. Men have a hard time handling one woman, let alone two!
Anyway, in this drama there was infidelity, disrespect of parents, alleged rape (in my eyes, it was rape), and 3 different people attempted suicide. Now tell me, of all the things listed above, which are islamic? They are the most HARAM acts you can commit. Yet here is the one gazillion population of Pakistan watching this. Young kids/teens are being exposed to such non-sense. There's a big chunk of uneducated groups as it is, what are these entertainment outlets teaching them? They say indian and american entertainment industry is bad? Well Pakistan isn't very far behind!

Barely anything is original in Bollywood now. They copy other movies and songs.
Now? Full on kiss, and nude/sex scenes. Let's not forget english is now used in damn near EVERY desi movie and song. I remember seeing a movie called 'Karthik calling Karthik' when I was in India. I like a song on the film. Usually I could give a sh!t about desi movies and songs. But I went on youtube looking for the song. I looked at the comments and there was a westerner saying "don't they have their own language." And it hit me harder than before that India is trying to hard to be America.
That's just a small example. If you watch the Indian award shows, the men dress in suits. Woman dress in some European or American designer. Its usually a western style dress. They talk in English more than Hindi/Urdu.
Look at Priyanka Chopra' skank azz. She is doing an ALL english album shaking her azz all over pop star "Pitbull." Not only does the song suck. She just looks desperate and trying to hard and trashy.
When I was in India my own cousins wouldn't speak Urdu. I would speak it more than them. It's like "cool" to not speak Urdu. Everything about the Indian culture now has some form of westernization about it. I would look around and even in small cities there were English banners.
I see this as a bigger issue than most. Most people think "progress." And while India is leaps and bounds better than it was a decade ago (in my book no longer 3rd world) its culture is dying and being replaced. No joke. All my siblings independently thought so. Hell, even my Mom made comments.
Looks like Pakistan is slowly creeping closer to that same fate. I think these shows can be a parody of life. In reality, shit like this happens. I can't say for sure that this fosters a huge influence, but it also can't be completely denied. I'm torn on it. Because I don't think we should censor human expression. At the same time that expression should be done with great responsibility.
Your show (other than being eye candy for you ;)) seems like it's promoting cultural smut. Nothing to learn a lesson from. Drama for the sake of juicy drama.
Hope Pakistan doesn't suffer the fate India seems to be.
