Love and selfishness

what her spouse won't do.Well from experience this subject can open to discussion. Our world seems to be filled with so many double standards. Both men and women can relate. Well I first believe that love is kind.I can summarize kind as doing things for one another without being asked. As well having a gentle, easy attitude towards everyone. Love is such a popular subject for me anyway. I happen to have been in love many times. Now at age 31 year-old I am single. Of course this is by choice. I happen to be in a battle within myself that wouldn't be so healthy to another person. SInce we are discussing love I'll try to stay on that subject. So if love is kind, how can it be selfish. Seems like an oxymoron to me. Selfish people don't have the ability to be able to be thoughtful of giving to another person besides him or herself. Well this idea that the man is the provider seems to has gotten lost in the idealisms of our universe. Many still believe this to be true some say it's old fashioned. Still in yet it has withstood the test of time. Another idea is see is what I call equal partnership . Where both people share yt? he expenses of the household, and neither is superior go the other. Most recently the new has been at home dad's. A oppose to at home mothers. LOVE a word used so loosely that it has almost lost its importance. I guess that anyone who is known as selfish may find relationships troublesome. How can two people who love each other deny the other. Ok so there are of course exceptions to this love issue. Yes financial situations come into play as well as justifiable reasons. The idea here is that love and selfish can't dwell in the same pot. Well you may say your spouse is selfish.but I love them. Although selfishness is frowned upon, it could also be one of many survival tactics.Well say your spouse is selfish. Could still love them, sure. Anytime I face a dilemma in personal matters of the heart. I weigh my options. Really I do. I literally sit down and list the negative and positive things about either the situation or the person . Yes I may sound silly but I find it to be very helpful. The point I'm looking to make here is one that has been passed down threw generation. It was said by a wise man not of this earth but the creator of all things of this world. If you believe because I believe that love conquers all.
