Best place to file Federal tax online is www.freetaxusa.com and you can file NJ state taxes on the NJ revenue website... both are free.
Well, most accountants answer questions over the phone but i doubt anyone would attend call or give any time because thisis the busiest time for them... best place to look is sulekha and desi accountants are helpful if they hear sweet voice lollll... but as you said your dependants came end of last year, and you also have to provide more than half of their support and they must live with you .. so i am not sure how you gonna claim HOH... , USA healthcare is very messed up.. Obama care tried to bring some sorta relief but the insurance companies are soo corrupt and greedy that average person is suffering... as i told you health insurance varies from state to state, best bet is to live in a state where expenses are less... anyways , laterz

Yes, I can apply as HOH rather than single. And I do have eligible dependents. Everyone said this Obama Care only caused more problems. The premiums are too high or there's a high OOP. I have to figure out a solution by tomorrow.

1099 is for self employed people and you have to pay both employer and employee portion of Social security tax , total of 15.3 percent... 1099 has its benefits because you can form an LLC and save lot of taxes as Companies taxes are less than Personal income taxes... I am assuming Chandah is working on W2 and those people don't have much choice...

I don't wanna ask personal questions but how can you be "Head of Household"?Since you are not married, no children and if you had relative like cousin, but they would have to live with you for atleast 6 months and you provide more than half of their support. The only exception is parents, they don't have to live with you , but you must provide more than half of your support...
Since Obama care is new, so many people are confused. If your relatives just entered the US end of the year, then i think they can be exempt... I mean if they got their immigration status by the end of the year than they cant be held responsible for Health coverage.. Since i don't know the variables, you are better off calling up some accountant and explain the situation. I am assuming that "dependeant" must be your parents, or else you can't be a Head of household unless you are separated from your man and you are living separate more than 6 months... lol.... HOH would get you additional $3000 deduction over Single filing separately...

Listen not every woman lives in the hopes of finding a man to spend the rest of her life with. Marriage is NOT mandatory in Islam. It is highly recommended and advised but it is not law. That should tell you that women are not just created to be enslaved or binded by a man who's title is HUSBAND.

I'm covered. It's my dependents who don't have coverage. I'm applying as Head of Household. Thing is they're my relatives who just entered the U.S. end of last year. Unless I can get them exempt I will owe money. Or I can just remove the dependents and get less back. LOL either way I lose.

There is no way around for Obama care.. Everyone must enroll for the program, NJ state has higher premiums even for "Bronze" plan... you are not being provided for the Health insurance since you work for the Healthcare , hospital? My advice is to get the cheapest coverage either through your employer or from 'marketplace" , with cheap coverage, you will have higher deductible... Health care is an absolute nightmare in the US... Everyone should hope nad pray that they never have to go to the doctor or hospital...
You should consider moving out of NJ, this state Sucks in so many ways... I personally wanna move to TX...

I'd add, girls should get married by the age of 25 max.. By that time she is done with undergrad, not too old, not too young... when a woman exceed 25 , she starts going downhill looks wise... younger girls looks a lot better thats why girls in ther teens till 21 and 22 look better... Trust me most decent girls mature faster.. I remember in my uni, paki girls were looking for marriage but guys at that are not ready for marriage... so in the end these women get screwed by wrong guys who were looking for nothin but one night stand :D
