Getting Married too soon?
By NaseebSupport
About User: Male - Minnesota - 25
Question:
I have been in a relationship for the past 2 years and I have been perfectly happy for quite some time. About 6 months ago, she started to talk about accepting a job offer from another state which meant I would not be able to see her often. I love her and didn’t want to lose her so I asked her to marry me. She accepted and stayed back but now I am totally worried about the future. I want to be with her but I have never been in a committed relationship before her and the thought of getting married at 25 seems a bit frightening. My parents also think that I am too young to make a huge decision like this at such an age. Now I have no idea how to get out of this as my girlfriend refused a job offer which was a professional promotion. If I call it off, will she still be willing to go out with me till I can make a more stable decision. I don’t want her to break up with me but getting married under pressure doesn’t look so great either. I suggested that we keep the engagement a secret and don’t get married for another 2 years at least but she thinks it’s idiotic. Not only did she announce the engagement but she also wants to get married with a year. Is there any way out?

Psychological nudging .. promotion offer is always a good hook - as evident by your response .. On the bright side proactive women tend to make great spouse IMO ..so even though u got hustled, its still a good deal .. take it
