Capturing a moment in history through your eyes

By txcanadian

Though I'd like to convey my thoughts on photography but I'm on the sleepy side at the moment.

But in short, over the years I've taken a liking to photography. Art being a passion of mine, photographer is just another extension of art. It's a way to show the world how "you" see the world. It's like watching a movie based on ones life and how that person views the world.

As they ask "is the cup half full of half empty?". It's really about perception. How we as individuals perceive our own lives and the world that engulfs us. In a way photography is like stealing a piece of time. You captured something, be it the essence of a new day through a sunrise or an expression on someone face. But YOU'VE experienced that very moment on your own and captured it the way you perceived it. No one can truly feel what you experienced the moment you hit that button.

Long story short, I've been starting to take pictures and never had a chance to truly share them with the world. I intend to create a flickr account but in the mean time I'd like to share them with you.

I'd love to get your feedback and thoughts on the pics you've seen.

Appreciate it.
